Any insurer recommendations? It's for a 1 year old currently healthy dog

Thanks

Look for life policy for as much per year as you can afford. Vet bills can mount up quickly and you want a life policy so any conditions will continue to be covered as long as you stick with them.

I am with petplan and they have paid out around £4500 in less than 2 years. They may be pricey to begin with but I can't fault them as they pay quickly and our premium after claiming in the first year only went up slightly.

Yes, another PetPlan recommendation here. Just received yet another payout of just over £900 from them. Paid promptly straight into my bank. Never have any problems with payments from them.

Life time cover is essential because you never know what ongoing problems might develop.

My premiums are quite high but I have good cover, my dog is now 7 years old and has an ongoing condition.

I can only speak from experience, but we've been with MoreThan pet insurance for the last year and they've paid out very quickly when we've claimed.
