If a dog was born in Merseyside, rehomed via dogs trust Merseyside, wears a red collar and red harness, human mum supports Liverpool he’s a LFC supporter, right?

And not a supporter of a random Spanish team that my idiot Man City dh (or not so d) has just decided he now supports.

Is he a Spanish Water Dog? A Podenco? A papillon? A Catalan Sheepdog? A Spanish Pointer?

AvocadosBeforeMortgages · 26/05/2018 15:59

It would have to be a papillon with identity issues as that's a French breed Grin

OP I think you need to test him and see which he prefers - put out a Liverpool City kit and a Spanish kit and see which one he goes towards first Wink

PS I thought this was going to be a thread about dogs joining in games of football in the park when they weren't invited and I was going to offer my sympathy!

agedknees · 26/05/2018 16:13

We had his dna done, he’s border terrier, border collie, collie, whippet and 2 other dogs I can’t remember.

He’s with dh in Spain currently whilst I am minding granddog in the U.K.

If he’s in Spain I would imagine he’s supporting the Spanish team , sorry OP . My dog was likely born in London and came to us as a Battersea pup but he supports Royal Challengers Bangalore cricket team he has no allegiance with any English teams .

agedknees · 26/05/2018 17:19

But he’s only on holiday in Spain.

Does ddog even like football? Maybe he's more into rugby?

pigsDOfly · 26/05/2018 18:36

I bet he'd prefer tennis. All those tennis balls flying around, what's not to love.

agedknees · 26/05/2018 18:46

He loves footie and cricket.

OP posts:
ineedamoreadultieradult · 26/05/2018 18:50

Who does he support in cricket? If it's not England then we can just assume ddog is a glory hunter rather than a true lifelong supporter of his 'home' sports teams.

agedknees · 26/05/2018 19:25

He supports Lancashire and England of cours.

HarrietSchulenberg · 27/05/2018 00:34

I think he's an Everton fan but he's just not told you yet.

Get Everton to play in your back garden. If your dog pulls the curtains, then he’s a Liverpool fan.
