If anybody can give me advice would appreciate it, so at 6:15 we heard crying from our female Siberian husky she was wanting to get into the utility room as she likes sitting in this corner so we let her in, in the first hour she was panting heavily crying still if I left she’d cry even more so I’ve been near her since, she keeps getting up and getting comfy then sitting back down then getting back up, scratching the floor and pulling her blankets around to sort out her space, she has been to sleep for abit but now it’s 10:25 and she has started getting up again and moving around then lays down for abit, I think today could be the day just don’t know how many hours it will go on for as she hasn’t gone into active labour yet there’s no sign of pushing just that’s she’s really uncomfortable and keeps sorting out her corner she’s in and moving around a lot. Any body got any advice on what’s next or how long it will be till she starts giving birth

Any sane person would have contacted a vet after they had mated to see what the options were. If they were crazy enough to go ahead with a husky pregnancy, birth and raising pups after an accident they would at least have arranged experience help to be on hand when needed.

I fear for this bitch and her pups heath and if they survive, their futures.

Sorry OP I cannot give you any practical advice as I would never put myself or my dog in this situation with no clue what to do. You owe it to your dog to call a vet and get them or someone they recommend to come out and support you through this and make sure your bitch and her pups or ok.

Bitching aside op, how is she doing?
Our Lurcher had puppies (ex sil owned her then so hold the critics), and its a stressful time.

@Spaniels I meant an emergency spay shortly after mating, it's a bit late now!

Any update op?

Hairyfairy01 · 25/05/2018 22:09

Hope things are going / gone well op. Keep us updated.

I think it's highly unlikely that the OP will come back to this.

Doubt it.
Off selling the "mistake" puppies on scumtree. Or hopefully not facing the worst consequence for the mum. Angry

So the facts as we know them

Gets a new high energy dog whilst pregnant with twins
Owns two complete adult dogs of opposite sex
Let’s them mate
Chooses not to abort/MAP
Fails to do any preparation for imminent birth
Posts on a parenting website for advice when dog is already in labour.
