What is this on dogs ears?

Hi all,

My Frenchie has got scabs on his ears and hos eyes seem a little sore too. Does anyone have any ideas what this might be? He's not scratching them but has been shaking his head. I have cleaned them regularly with hibi scrub. Just looking for solutions before I take him to the vets next week, thank you!

Hibiscrub is pretty full on and should never be applied to sore, broken or irritated skin. Use a proper dog ear cleaner, meant for pets.

Oh really? My vet gave me to to clean his vasectomy wound and help it heal so I assumed it was quite mild

We use hibiscrub to clean wounds etc but very very watered down so the water is just pink.
