Dog reactive to doorbell!

I posted last week re my newly acquired whippet/collie/terrier (possibly) doggie who is a bit overactive when not reclining on her bed.
She has now started going manic at the sound of the doorbell - which is rather strident as I need to hear it all over a fairly large house and she is lying in the hall.
Today the postman called (and rang twice Grin) and she went berserk - any tips on how to desensitize her - I tried going outside and ringing the doorbell but she knew it was me so it did not work as I hoped. I rewarded her for not going demented when it was me at the door though - positive reinforcement.

She is 8 yo not a puppy - so this is obviously learned reaction or something she was encouraged to do in a previous home.
My postie is lovely - I do not want him discouraged Confused

I'm not sure reactive would be technically the right word here, but she's certainly learned that someone ringing the doorbell means visitors, and that means she needs to say something about it!

This is a good video about desensitising them
