I will take her to the vet but won't be able to until Tuesday (maybe tomorrow).

Can anyone throw any light on why my Golden Retriever bitch (22 months) is biting her tail, bottom and legs?

She's had flea treatment, anal glands emptied and worming tablet about a month ago. Maybe I'm not doing enough?

Thank you

Some doggies have sensitivies/allergies and I find this time of year is when they particular flare up just like hay fever does with humans.
Your vet will be able to best advise and depending on how severe the allergy is, could do a panel of allergy tests.

In the meantime things I recommend: give her a bath with some good anti itch shampoo - I recommend

And the same company does a great anti itch balm.
In the meantime, sudocrem is fabulous for treating any doggy sores so you can slap some of that on the irritated skin.

It's also worth looking at her food. What do you feed her on? Fish oil supplements are good for scratchy dogs. I also strongly recommend:
