And nobody recognised her! The DC were falling over themselves laughing, DH thought I'd secretly adopted another dog, and the cats...well. They have no idea whether to beat her up or allow her to continue breathing!

The dog herself seemed a bit confused about being able to see properly and was amazed to discover she has a tail (just).

It's amazing to see just how little she is under all that fur, but she can still knock you sideways!!

My springer has just had her shaggy ears cut off, and she looks all shades of wrong

MissMary0fSweden we did that once with our cocker spaniel and it made him look more lab than spaniel . I always make sure they leave some curls on his ears now

We did that too. He looks like a puppy! The first photo is 'yay I'm home!' The second one is 'they did things to me.'

that's worse than I thought it would look! I can't believe how much smaller and strangely shaped it makes the ears look. And she does look embarrassed, poor girl. You've just saved my cocker from the embarrassment of having his "beachy waves" taken off.

(Btw beachy waves is a fantastic way to describe fluffy spaniel ears)
