Picking up after your dog

I promise I'm not a poo troll but I wanted some advice. My dog is struggling with loose stools, when I pick up after her there's always residue left behind. If she's been out in a public area I try to get as much as I can and even pick the grass to try and get it all up but it's near impossible. Has anyone got any suggestions?

I used to carry tissue, so I could pick up most of the poo, then, use a tissue held in a bagged hand (so I wasn't going to touch poo!) and wipe up. I always carry loads of poo bags, and tissue!

I did recently see a man get a handful of sand to cover his dogs recent runny poo, but, he was about 3 meters from a beach!

Carry a water bottle and swill.

Try to take her out after she has been at home.

Carry a small bottle of water with you to wash the rest down.

Grab a handful of nearby, clean grass to make a covering for the smear.

Do the best you can, that's all any of us can do Smile
