Your dog's quirks

Whenever my 2-year-old GSD plays football/fetch he quickly scrambles to find something to put in his mouth before running off. Even if he's really excited to go after a ball he has a quick scan around him. He now has a designated plastic pipe for this purpose. Interestingly, he is about ten times faster if he is without it! Would love to hear random things your dogs do.

Last night I let the dog out, and he started barking at the moon. It's not the first time either

Ours likes to throw balls at us to get our attention...also very territorial and if somebody walks by the house, the kitchen worksurfaces are littered with the tennis balls he has flung at them.
Also would do a handstand for a banana if he could....
