Not to alarm you but it looks very similar to my Beagle's Mast Cell Tumor he has removed.

It started as a small skin tag and changed to be bigger like this so had it investigated, he had a biopsy and it showed that it was indeed a cancerous mast cell Tumor.

We were sent to a specialist and had an MRI to see if it had spread before having it removed as the case was if he was going to have to undergo cancer treatments we'd have let him go.

Luckily there was not a single cancer cell anywhere else apart from in his Tumor, so we had it removed and graded and it came back that it was very low grade, so removal got rid of it.

It does mean he's prone to other popping up now later in life but we have to look out for an unusual lump or bump now.

OR

It might just be a skin tag!!! Don't get too worried! (I know it's easier said than done) but I would take them to vet and have them biopsied

Hope all goes well! Xx

Thank you, glad your Beagle has recovered. Cancer is what I was concerned about. Lost my other dog last week to cancer, so very much on my mind. It looks more like a pink blister, than skin tag, feels soft.

It could not have been there long. He is long haired, first hair cut for summer yesterday, when I noticed it.

He has regular baths/grooming at home, about every time 1-2 months, last one about 3 weeks ago, I feel sure I would have noticed any lumps and bumps when washing him.

Vets next week definitely

How big is it?

Shedmicehugh1 · 21/04/2018 18:48

About 3cm round, protruding approx 1/2 cm 1cm.

He does have very sensitive skin.

Shedmicehugh1 · 26/04/2018 20:32

Thanks for asking. Appointment on Monday. Earliest I could do, had a really busy week. I will let you know what they say.
