I need a name for this dog by tomorrow afternoon!

He is a cockapoo......we have on the list .... Rupert, Rufus, Samson, Woody, Hector, ........kids like Rolo , Coco and Oreo (?!) It's sooooooo difficult it's like naming a 4th child

I need a name for this dog by tomorrow afternoon!

All your names would be great OP, except Oreo. Two syllables are better for training, and Oreo just reminds me of a certain multinational company IMO ruining our chocolate and environment with palm oil!

In a similar situation we have all had a go at shouting the names and then voted, with the deciding vote if necessary going to the main dog carer.

I don't like "people names" for dogs so would go with something like Skipper,
Curly,
Buster,
Shadow,
Cookie

Though ours are called Kensi and Deeks... guess which TV program we like... Blush

We name all our dogs in a minority language from a book related to the breed, which you'd think would narrow it down and make it easier, but no!

He looks like a Dennis to me - not on your list, but oh those eyebrows, ie Dennis Healey! The other Dennis that springs to mind, and could be relevant from the twinkle in his eye in your photo, is Dennis the Menace!

I think dogs are best called 'out of favour' people names. So I suggest Gary - that's the name of one of ours!

Just wanted to let you all know that after a long, hot, busy day, I am thrilled to say RUPERT ROLO Foreverblessed has arrived! He is settling in really well and is just gorgeousSmile lol ds2 suggested him having a middle name, he meant getting Rolo in there somehow! Thank you so much to everyone who suggested xxxx
