Lab first season

Our 9.5 month lab is on day 5 of her season. She’s been pretty lethargic since it started - still playing in short bursts in the garden but usually she has boundless energy. For the last 24 hours she’s been offer her food, had a couple of bouts of diarrhoea and one vomit (which ate back up as usual). Still weeping, still wagging her tail, not dehydrated. I’ve no experience of bitches on heat - is this illness on top of her season or just her being on heat please?

When my lab had her first season at 11 months old, she seemed fed up and a bit lethargic but didn't experience any D&V or go off her food. She became very clingy. She only had one season before we had her speyed and she is our first dog so I don't really know what's normal.
Hopefully someone more experienced can share their thoughts.
Hope she is back to normal soon.

Definitely sensible to call the vet. What sort of discharge is she having?

Dark reddy brown initially now a bit redder. Very small amounts.

Vet said to bring her in to check over so have an appointment for midday

Vet said she was fine-possibly just her season, possibly mild bug on top of season. Chicken and rice to settle her tummy and diarrhoea has more or less settled but still a bit more lethargic than usual. Thanks for asking.
