So over the last week or so ddog has developed a wheezy cough that culminates in a gagging noise, has completely gone off her food, urinating in the house, orange diarrhoea and shaking whilst lying down.

Currently sat outside the vet waiting for blood test results.

ThanksI'm so sorry. But your love for her shone through your posts. She must have had a lovely life with you.

SummerRayne17 · 17/04/2018 12:27

I am so very sorry to read about your poor DDog. I am sure they felt very loved though and you didn't let them suffer 💐 x

Lisette40 · 17/04/2018 12:29

Oh Grinch I'm so, so sorry about your poor dog. I don't have a dog now but grew up with a few and recognise what a loss this is for you.

Aprilmightbemynewname · 17/04/2018 12:45

Ohh, I am so sorry to hear that. I know how hard it is, to make that decision for a much-loved pet.

Thanks
ScreamingValenta · 17/04/2018 18:24

I'm so sorry for your loss, Grinch. I don't know what to say, but my sympathies are with you Flowers.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 17/04/2018 23:39

I’m so sorry Grinch. Please take some comfort from knowing that you did everything you could for her and she didn’t suffer. I know it’s not much consolation but better too early than too late. Remember all the happy times. If we didn’t experience such love from our dogs it wouldn’t hurt half as much when we lose them. Remember the love. ❤️

Olliver27 · 18/04/2018 00:09

I'm so sorry Flowers. It sounds like you did the right thing though - they don't understand what's happening at all when they're sick Sad

thegrinchthatstolexmas · 18/04/2018 10:07

Thank you for all your kind words. The house just feels really empty at the moment and DC keep asking after her.
I'm glad she isn't in pain anymore just feel awful there was nothing more I could do for her.

You did everything you could. There wasn’t anything else anyone could do. It was her time. Flowers

I know what you mean about the empty house. I used to walk my old boy when I got back from the school run. Those first few weeks of walking up the drive and not seeing his face at the door was heartbreaking.

Keep taking about her if it helps. We’ve all been there at some point. We understand.

TheFaerieQueene · 18/04/2018 11:02

So sad Flowers

JeezeLouise · 18/04/2018 11:19

Oh no, grinch, so sorry for your loss. Such a tough thing to go through

bilbodog · 18/04/2018 11:29

So sorry to read this. You gave your dog a lovely home and loved her so much and she loved you. Having lost our lovely boy only a few weeks ago ive found it very cathartic looking at all the photos we have of him and remembering all the funny and stupid things he did. My thoughts are with you.

joystir59 · 18/04/2018 14:37
