She has been going downhill for a few months. Could not see and was not managing, not able to stand for more than a few seconds, had to be carried outside to do her business. No quality of life at all and dementia.
Vet came this morning to put her to sleep. Wa very gentle and lovely to be at home with her.
I intend crying as much as I want and wherever I want. Rip little dog you added much to our lives.

So very sorry. I was completely devastated when I had to have mine pts last year. Still not over her. They give so much don't they? I cried for weeks.

Humphriescushion · 13/04/2018 09:00

Thank you Twitterqueen. Sorry for your loss as well. Yes they give so much and it is so hard when they go.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our little dog last year and I'm still lost without her. I miss her everyday. We'd all love to hear about your lovely girl if you need to talk about her. Thanks

Sorry to hear that Miaow, they become such an important part of our lives dont they? Ours was a character as well, full of energy in her heyday but only liked us!

I'm really sorry Humphriescushion it's bloody heartbreaking when it's time Flowers

I think when a dog is mourned so deeply, having been so loved, that they achieved much more in their few years than many humans do in many, many years - good on you little dog. You did life well.

Humphriescushion · 13/04/2018 19:06

Thank missbattenburg. What you say is very true, they give so much to the family and expect little in return. She was an amazing family member.
