Fox Poo and dogs

Seriously Why??????????!

I've tried the Fox Poo shampoo I was assured worked, I've sprayed him with dirty dawg and every other spray the pet shop assured me works and yet still my house stinks.... No one told me this bit about getting a dog!!!!

Just needed to get that off my chest!!!!

Dogs ARE disgusting.

That is all.

ha ha! Glad i'm not alone! Someone else told me about ketchup - does it work?? I'm ordering buckets of the stuff! another dog walker told me a horror story of their long haired dog who rolled in not only fox poo but a dead fox carcass...... never will I moan again!!!!!

Fortunately BiteyDog so far has only ever rolled in something when we have been out walking near home. I dread the time he does it and I have to put him in the car to bring him home.

Yes mine loves fox poo. She also loves eau de death, and has previously rolled in dead fish, birds and worms.

Then I get the evils when I dare wash her. Dogs!

Ketchup is the only answer! I didn't believe it until I actually tried, and now keep an extra large bottle of Asda own brand specifically for dogs.
No amount of shampoo ever took away the smell, but ketchup followed by shampoo does the job every time. I am the owner of four incurable fox poo rollers :(

Mine has a fatal attraction to fox poo I can’t quite bring myself to try ketchup, so I usually just shampoo her 2 or 3 times with the Fox poo stuff. Still takes a couple of days to wear off completely.

I’ve never found the ketchup works , I’ve only tried with Heinz , I wash him in fox poo shampoo and then rewash using Superdrug tea tree and peppermint facial foaming wash and that seems to do the trick . Mine also rolls in dead animals and that’s revolting but actually less offensive from an aroma POV .

Had you never smelt a dog owner? Of course dogs smell. It's like saying I didn't know smoking indoors would make my house smell bad.

Tomato ketchup really does work! Wet dog, apply ketchup to offending areas like shampoo, rinse, fox poo shampoo! I was amazed at how well it removed the smell compared to just the shampoo.
