Seat stealer

Can anyone shed some light on why every time I get up my dog jumps in my seat. I get up and when I return there is a dog where I was sat.

He does it in the bed too. He'll be in his basket, I get up for whatever reason, I come back and he's on my side of the bed. Practically on my pillow.

He does this whether dh is there or not. And he doesn't steal dh's seats, just mine.

Why? I don't mind, it keeps my seat warm. Just perplexed as to why he does it.

Another thing she loves is sitting on my phone. Like, I’ll leave the room and come back and she’s sitting right ON my phone, so I have to dig it out from under her (to miffed looks!). Weirdo!!

Mine does this. I figure it's warm and it's where I sat so it's comforting.

My dog does this too. I think they like the security of you scent.

So if he does this to me and not dh is that because he loves me more?
