Dog limping very badly

Poor ddog can't put any weight on front leg, this came on suddenly an hour or two after a long happy walk. Vet has looked and expensively found nothing and neither can I see what could be hurting so much. Can anyone suggest anything please?

What breed?
I have an Italian Greyhound who had a 'knocked toe' and limped badly.
A dog I dog sit for had glass in his pad and he didn't weight bear at all. That took quite a bit of investigation and an operation to get to the bottom of it.

Border collie. The vet checked every pad and between the pads and flexed all the joints up to her shoulder, she didn't squeak once, but won't put it down at all and now she is crying.

Oh bless her. Did he give her any metacam or such like?

starsorwater · 26/02/2018 21:39

Yes, she has painkillers, not metacam which upsets her tum. They dont seem to be working though.

How about a bit turmeric, black pepper, coconut oil.
Natural anti inflammatory.
Look up on how to make turmeric paste.

Could just be a sprain/twist/sore muscle. I would bed rest her for a day, and go from there.
