Our new puppy is asleep on my feet. (Her fav think to do). It is raining outside, she doesn’t really like the dark I can’t imagine rain will float her boat. How the heck am I going to get her outside to “empty” before I put her to bed. We only got her a couple of days ago and so she hasn’t wholy got the hang of toileting outside.

Does anyone have any bright ideas?

Head torch and large umbrella are your friends when toilet training in the winter Grin

the list of things I need to keep by the back door for immediate access is getting larger and larger.

Also stick a coat on the dog , my dog doesn’t like garden visits in rain , although he’s more than happy to go for a walk , and I just put him a fleece on and he’s much more amenable to going out for a quick wee .

By the back door I have: umbrella, coat, crocks, treats, head torch, poo bags.

All very useful for the 50067 trips outside I have to take the puppy on. If it is too yucky and wet I just pick him up and carry him to his preferred big spot!
