I am doing a dissertation on the factors that influence which equipment owners use to walk their dog.

Done. My dogs have their identity tags on their harnesses. They never wear a collar.

Done, but unable to give more than one answer for the question which asks what reason the equipment is used - my choice was for more than one reason and one of those wasn't even listed. Some free text might give you a bit more insight and help with your analysis.

Also, the mix of free text and auto response isn't ideal, as I use multiple methods for my dog - harness, head collar or normal collar - depending on where we are going or who is walking her.

I use a harness for the sake of my dogs' health.

done, but I would have thought one major reason for using a harness is to avoid damage to the neck and throat, so I am surprised that option isn't on there
