Can I be excited?

We visited a breeder today. Puppies planned soon and will be ready at the end of June. Our name is down!

We have had ten dogless years and it feels far too long - I am so excited. Off to Crufts in March to window shop for all the kit we need and to watch the breed judging. Eeeep.

Exciting!
What breed have you gone for?
I so want another dog but must wait until I am working from home.

Smooth Collie. We've done a lot of research and they are the right size and temperament for us. DS1 is about to start secondary school and is desperate to have some responsibility for him (although could be a her). DS2 is a little more cautious but this will be so good for him.

Very exciting! Dh is very keen on getting a smooth collie (we already have a Toller and he thinks a smooth would be a good fit with our lovely but rather wussy boy). We’re hoping to go to Crufts to meet a couple of breeders who dh has been in contact with so might see you there!
