Does anyone use a Petcam CCTV thingy?

I was considering getting one of these so I can see how things are going when I am not in the room/house! I cannot find any recommendations online. I want to be able to leave big dog and pup indoors together for short periods but want to test the waters by being in the house but leaving them in a room together whilst I observe from a distance. Also, want to see how pup behaves in her crate when I am not in. She did have a little whine today when I went out despite her being totaly shattered having bombed around for abut 4 hours this morning and I felt really guilty waking big dog and leaving her crated. Anyone used a CCTV camera thing for this?

My friend has a Furbo - it’s great, she can talk to the dog and throw biscuits at him! She finds it reassuring knowing that he’s generally just snoozing whilst she’s out (and he enjoys the fact that we all like the novelty factor and feed him biscuits from work!!)

That sounds great! I saw them online - they are not too expensive either :-) Wonder how the biscuit dispenser works?!

I bought a cheap IP camera from Amazon (£40)

Allows me to watch him on my phone and I can move the camera around as we give him free run of the kitchen.

I just bought a cheap iGeek one on Amazon for 30quid.... it's absolutely excellent. Has sound, and I can talk back through my phone to the room.

Not used it to watch the puppy so far, but it's been great for keeping an eye on the kids when I take the puppy out for a walk in the rain and they don't want to come too Grin

Think mine is similar BassAce (ieGeek). Absolute bargain and I love spying on him when I am at work Grin

Ooh I geek sounds great. I’m off to look them up.

Ours is an ieGeek too. You can turn it a bit remotely and it has talkback if needed. You download an app to use it out and about. We like it x

I want an i-geek - they sound perfect - thankyou all.
