How can I convince DH to rescue this whippet?

We have a whippet already - he is gorgeous, loving, friendly, great at being left on his own, amazing recall and we all adore him.

But as most whippet owners will tell you, one is never enough. And I just saw this gorgeous fawn/blue female on a rescue site - 1 yr old (ours is only 17 mths), who had been abandoned to freeze/starve. She’s not far from us and I’d love to at least go and see her...

But DH says no . How can I convince him to at least visit her?

I think you're all right to express concerns about the rescue - the £400 fee doesn't sit right with me for one thing, and it just looks/sounds a bit dodgy.

DH won't agree to it anyway, which is totally fair enough - my head tells me he's absolutely right. In the meantime, I will continue to look at whippet rescue sites and dream...

It is easier to get forgiveness than permission!
