Does anyone know what this growth could be on my dogs nose? It’s definitely new. I will ring the vets in the morning but I am worried that it might be cancer. It doesn’t seem to bother her at all. Hoping someone can reassure me

Hi owl I'm a vet. Unfortunately I can't say for sure what the lump is, but there are so many benign possibilities that I really wouldn't worry yourself needlessly. Your vet might do a fine needle aspirate, where they just take a few cells with a needle, doesn't need any sedation or anaesthetic and usually quick and easy. If it goes to an external lab for analysis you might have to wait a couple of days for results. What age/ breed is your dog?

Aww, she sounds lovely! As I said, there are loads of possibilities, but she is relatively young so hopefully it will be nothing to worry about, or at worst treatable. Good luck, let us know what happens!
