Help. My puppy has done a pee on my friends wool carpet and she's furious. We mopped it dry and sponged it with warm soapy water but there is still a mark. How can we get rid of the stain???

I'm a big fan of enzyme (biological) laundry products, they seem to shift all these "animal" stains. My cat has taken up protesting about going out in the rain by pooing nightly on my new carpet and i have shifted those marks with a warm solution of Lidl bio liquid. As long as its still wet (damp will do) the enzymes keep working. After a while excess water can be blotted up with a clean cloth or kitchen roll and the area left to dry. Give that a go. Oh and bear in mind that as long as the carpets still damp it will be a slightly darker colour, it might need a while to dry off properly. Good luck.

Dr Beckman carpet cleaner has always worked for me

You can get a cleaning product, I think it's called Simple Solutions, comes in a blue spray bottle. It contains natural enzymes rather than chemicals. It smells quite nice too, like baby powder I think

Lakeland sell one by bissell. It’s quite pricey and I’ve had to use an entire can on one stain but it has worked for me. Eventually.

Speed really is of the essence with these things. It could be too late. Does she have any offcuts so you could offer to pay for an invisible patch mending service?
