Our lovely elderly dog has started having accidents, bless her. She just can't hold it like she used to. Mostly it's not a big problem, I make sure she goes outside regularly and know the signs she needs to go pretty well so it's mainly if she wakes before me in the morning or if we go out for too long. We have hard floors apart from one rug and last week she peed on it twice. It's a dark shaggy rug so didn't notice right away and it now smells horrible.
I don't want to bin the rug, it wasn't expensive but haven't had it long. So any tips on on the best products to use to get rid of the smell? Thanks
