Light up collar suggestions?

I walk my Springer before dawn in the fields each morning and I need a light up collar that works. We are on our second collar this season and, quite frankly, they have both been a bit rubbish.

The first one switched itself off when he ran anywhere. We took that back and swapped it for a rechargeable Ancol light up flashing collar - all good until it gets even slightly damp (useless with a spaniel) and it only holds it’s charge for just over an hour (again, useless walking a spaniel)

Does anyone have a decent light up collar that works? I’ve tried lights that hang from his collar but they don’t show up if he’s facing the other way!

i saw some in Lidl today...no idea about quality, but pretty sure almost all of their stuff has a three year g'tee, and it was surely not pricey.

We have this for our dog (not a spaniel tho)

Its super bright and has the added bonus of making him look like he's at a 90s rave Grin

Battery seems to last for ages too

We have two - this Trixie one for long haired dogs and a wonderfully named GoDoggieGlow one. They’re both rechargeable and very bright

I've been using these for over a year and they're still going strong, even though my dogs go in water wearing them. With multiple dogs you can give each a different colour so you know who is where.
I tried light up collars but with shaggy dogs found they just weren't seen.

Thanks for all your suggestions- it’s always helpful to have recommendations rather than plough through reviews.

I’m off for a wander round Amazon and Zooplus!

The Beacon will never let you down www.dfordog.co.uk/ruffwear-beacon-dog-light.html Not the cheapest (it is Ruffwear, an excellent brand) but when it comes to LEDs it is best to fork out a bit as cheaper ones won't always be reliable. I also love Lumitube by Red Dingo. You can even cut it to the exact length required Smile

I have the Lumitube ones too. I like that they just take AAA batteries and not fancy ones.
