Does he really remember him??

I have an extremely people loving golden retriever. He’s 5.5.

BIL has been living abroad for about 4.5 years. He would have met my goldie regularly before he left.

Today BIL came home and he’s at our house for a few hours. DDog has gone MENTAL - jumping all over him and basically being his shadow. BIL has gone for a lie down and DDog is right beside him on the bed.

Does he really remember him? He does love people in general but I can’t imagine him being like this to a stranger.

I would say yes - I've not seen a reunion after that long, but my dog went crazy when she saw my brother after almost two years - and he'd changed so much I barely recognised him!
