Double dog lead.

Wondering if anyone had any experience using, or suggestions on double leads? Pup is starting to join us on more walks and I'm thinking about getting a double lead for some of our walks. For the most part, 2 seperate leads is fine but I would like something for walks through town/school run/out with kids on scooters etc, where I could do with having a free hand without them getting completely tangled. I have one of the double ended attachments for a normal lead but but it does end up with both dogs being very closely attached so looking to see what others have tried. I was looking at a double extendable lead but not sure

I have a Adogo double lead from Amazon that works well and the dogs are seperate enough - I don't use extendable leads - either a normal one or let them off.

Have you seen the EzyDog Zero Shock Coupler www.dfordog.co.uk/zero-shock-coupler-walk-two-dogs.html Attach it to the end of your favourite lead. As the name suggests, it will absorb some of the jolt if they suddenly pull/yank.

You could try having them on separate leads but attached to a walking belt. That way you've got both hands free when necessary. You can get belts with side attachments as well as the front one which reduces tangling.

Thanks all. I've opted for something similar to Limejelly. The waist belts look good but the main issue I have is them tangling up with each other so I'm hoping attaching the coupler to the swivel buckle of the lead will help to avoid that. I'll only really be using it for walking in busier places so would prefer to have them both on the same side of you know what I mean. 😊
