What dog would go with a Border Terrier? We're thinking a Cocker Spaniel, so something around that sort of size.

I would say not a lab unless up for long walks we do easily at least 12 miles in a day and he happily do more plus things in the house to keep his brain tired to

Fortunate mine matured quite quick but see a lot of labs that even at 3 are tad crazy

I’m probably going to get a second dog sometime next year. Poor Bluepuppy isn’t really happy being an only dog. It’s at the point where I either Re-home him and have no dogs or get a second. Pretty sure it will be another whippet but most likely an older puppy or young adult. I’m not really in the position to go through baby puppyhood again. Plus an older dog gives me the best chance of a good match for my current dog.
