Is there anything more I should do about this?

There's a dog barking, has been for 24 hours. I do not hear any different sounds, the barks are not changing - I honestly think it's been abandoned or someone's left it for 24 hours. Sad

I noticed it at 7am yesterday and then persistently through the day up til 9pm when I stopped working in this room (I can only hear it in one room).

I got up really early this morning, 5.30 and it's still barking.

The noise isn't bothering me, I'm only concerned. I've been on the local council website and they only have 'what to do if you find a dog' and 'noise complaint' pages - I've made the noise complaint but stressed in it I'm not bothered about the noise but only worried it's been abandoned.

Do you think I should also call 101?

I can't go round as the building is divided into flats and I can't tell which room it's coming from

Knock on several doors within the complex? If the owner isn't there someone will know which flat it's in

The council are only worried about noise nuisance. Phone the RSPCA
