We have a cavalier King Charles Spaniel Aged 18 months. She has always been a really fussy eater...she turns her nose up at all kinds of dog food and will often go a day or two with no food trying to wait it out for human food as we used to get worried and give in and feed her chicken. Roookie mistake we know. She seems to be on a food strike again, however still showing interest in our food when we are eating. However another thing that is worrying me a bit is that she has started lying in her crate with the door open all the time. This just isn't like her at all. She loves lying with is on the sofa and although she doesn't dislike her crate, the last 4 days she keeps going in and just lying there looking sad and sleepy. She's still happy to play ball and go on walks etc. Any ideas? She can't be pregnant as she hasn't been in contact with other dogs but she hasn't been spayed.
