Ahhhhh love that....

I’ve had to stop myself looking at it as I well up every time! I think I might be a little hormonal.

OP mine has been at the vets recently for several day and overnights admissions and that picture just reminds me of how he was when I kept collecting him Sad

TheMightyPigsbum · 20/11/2017 16:25

Urgh the thought that they worried they’d been abandoned forever is heart breaking - my dog is a rescue and was surrendered when his previous owner was sent to prison so actually did get left forever once...

I hope biteypup made a full recovery x

Yes he is recovered now (fingers crossed that we don't have a repeat) but his face when I left him was awful and he was so overjoyed when I picked him up after several days it broke my heart. I really wish you could explain to them that you really are coming back and that cartoon says it all doesn't it Sad

Pretty much daily here, except I put my handbag etc down when I come home before I get through the door so PestDog gets my full and undivided attention

Mind you, I get the same reaction whether I've gone to the corner shop or have been at work all day...

I thought the cartoon was dog knee-hugging owner when he is leaving for work Blush - as you were!
still tear jerking though.
