So proud of Floraldog this afternoon , he stood nose to nose with a husky , whilst both on leads and managed to actually say hello , sniff nicely and be civil . Huskies are like his dog nemesis , he usually cannot stand them and embarrasses me with hysterical barking . I’m sure tomorrow he will show me up again somehow but today it really feels like a break through moment .

Can I just boast - our woofer has managed to lose 4kg in 6 months! He's a Golden Retriever and was getting on for 40kg when we adopted him 18 moths ago, but is now 33kg which is much healthier. I feel disproportionately proud of this achievement!

Mine has been out with the dog walker to a muddy field and decorated my floors and walls with mud. He's also going nuts about something under the chair. There is nothing there. I think he's on a wind-up.

Mine has achieved true little git status today by managing to eat cat shit at the start of her walk then as were going through the sheep field she managed to roll in sheep shit, oh and eat a bit of it too 🙈. Those antics earned her a cold wash down with the hose pipe so she’s now sulking in her bed, she thought it was a great walk though!

BoyDog achieved being carried for most of his morning walk, as his feet got wet and he got himself into such a state he refused to move 🙄

Eric chose to come in instead of running to the two bitches who he has bark offs with when we pass their house. It is incredible self restraint by him to be fair particularly as I didn't have a bribe on me to help him decide.

Lottie broke through a hedge in pursuit of a squirrel but then immediately came back when I called, despite a lack of treats or tennis balls.

What a good girl!

PestDog managed to be civil to every dog at training class, despite the fact that he was on a lead. I actually managed to leave without having to apologise profusely while other owners looked at me like I have the devil on a lead.

Also, walking past the neighbour's incoming supermarket delivery without trying to steal something / wee on it!

Managed by sheer skill and stealth to bring in a rather large stick and chew it up in the sitting room carpet

He is now lying on most of the evidence.

Honey girl ( turned 1 on sunday) who's an Airedale terrier managed to behave perfectly for her first official groom and stood still for the whole time with no complaints and now looks beautiful

Still early morning here and Ddog border collie has been quite subdued due to an early morning shower with some thunder. He even refused to do his favourite job of the day which is exuberantly bounding in to wake up sleepyhead teen DD. Instead he has been curled up in the cosy space between bed & chest of drawers.

Mine had a 1 hour long walk this morning in the sun - totally gorgeous, and met a 4 month old puppy that was also a black cocker spaniel so they played like loons for a bit. Came home, had breakfast then followed me round the house like my shadow for a few hours, slept while I popped out, went for another 45 minute walk, had a bath due to rolling in cowshit and half a hedge stuck in his ears.... had tea, now sleeping on sofa firing out intermittent farts. What a life Grin.

DancingOnParsnips · 19/11/2017 06:10

Carefully watched me sew his bed that he had torn together - then tried to chew it again HmmGrin

My 12 old arthritic lab managed to get his leg up high enough to lick his bum so all in all a good day.

BumpowderSneezeonAndSnot · 20/11/2017 18:49

My very dog reactive dog sat quietly, but on alert, in the vets today when faced with other dogs. It's the tallest they've been around another dog since we got her

JaneJeffer · 20/11/2017 20:27

My dog created a voodoo altar on the doorstep of some feathers, a crushed snail and a bungee cord.

RebeccaWithTheGoodHair · 21/11/2017 12:23

The puppy was on the wrong side of the door after I fed the cats and couldn't get to lick out their bowls before one of the big dogs.

The pesky little critter then peed over the empty bowl in disgust.
