Help me do the maths on "pet clubs"

OK, so our vets offers a vet club which costs £15.50 a month.

For that you get booster vaccinations (£39.14 - yes you did read that correctly) once a year, nails clipped twice a year (£6 a pop at the dog groomer) and wormers and flea treatment every quarter (say £16 a quarter), plus a health check (which they offer as part of the £39.14 jab anyway). I make that £115.14. v £186.

Am I missing something major or is this just not worth doing? (I do have insurance - it's not that).

Does it offer anything else? Mine also gives me 15% off any treatments, medicines, toys or food purchased from them. This can add up as a lot of general things tend to come under the insurance excess and even when it doesn't it does mean I get 'more treatment' included within my insurance limit.
