Phantom pregnancy

Hi, anyone whose bitch has had a phantom pregnancy when did the symptoms start? How long after the season stopped did u notice something was up? Reason I ask is my dog has been clingy the last couple of days and sick in the morning.

Are you absolutely sure she didn’t get caught?
My lovely little girl started phantom symptoms pretty much as her season ended - things didn’t return to normal as I expected - the symptoms gradually faded over weeks. She only had physical symptoms though, she was absolutely fine in herself.

Thanks for your reply, her season finished just over a month ago and there's no way she got caught. I'm wondering whether she has snaffled something on a walk that's upset her. She's not off her food, mind you nothing puts my dog off food!

Can you take her to a vet just to be sure?. By now the vet can confirm if it is a phantom or real pregnancy.

By the OP saying "there's no way she got caught" that tends to mean nothing at all happened which could've resulted in pregnancy.
