My dog was castrated a few days ago. I know he's meant to take 'short walks on the lead' for ten days post-op, but just wondered if anyone knows if there's a maximum time for him to be out, or if the main thing is just to stop him running, jumping and generally frolicking? Would three or four on-lead walks of 20-25 minutes be okay? Obviously his recovery comes first, but he's just so full of energy! He's used to having about two hours of mainly offlead walking.
