So my dog is on day 60 of pregnancy and is now showing signs or her puppies going to make an appearence soon we have got her cosey in her whelping box I don't know if I'm more nervous or excited I know most dogs manage to deliver pups themselfs without any assistance but anyone any advice?

And equally baffled (if it wasn’t on purpose) as to why she isn’t spayed

To be fair I will never let my dog breed but I will also never have her spayed unless it's for a medical condition in which it's either life or death. Believe it or not, vets lie. Spaying may rule out certain cancers but it also increases a lot more other cancers and health problems.

I do agree that the OP does not seem very prepared for these puppies. Not just the birth but also the rehoming process which is scary. OP please never breed from her again.

How has she done?

Op someone posted a few days ago about how they weren't coping with their husky. Absolutely awful match and dog has several behaviour issues and will be difficult to rehome. Not saying this has absolutely anything to do with you, you sound a lovely concerned owner that has been judged rather harshly by some. Getting a dog is easier than getting a loaf of bred these days, hope all goes well and they have lovely homes to go to
