Dog coat recommendations?

Ok, so PestDog needs a coat for the winter. Something
(a) warm
(b) waterproof
(c) cut for dogs, not oddly shaped humans e.g. nothing cut to look like a parka for dogs with a ridiculous fur trim

He has a 40cm long back, so pretty middle of the road size-wise.

Budget of up to about £20 as I refuse to spend more on the dog's coat than my own... suggestions very welcome! I've seen the Trixie Explore coat but it's new (no reviews out there) and a bit more than I want to spend.

Equafleece - practical, loads of different sizes/fits/colours plus they wash and dry really quickly.

Thank you - but bump - any other suggestions?

Sorry. Equafleece here too!
Waterproof. Easy to put on. And even make sizes to fit my wolfhound!

Greenkit · 12/10/2017 23:45

What is he?

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 12/10/2017 23:50

Absolutely another vote for Equafleece!

rightsaidfrederickII · 13/10/2017 09:08

It seems I only got one response because it was a consensus Grin

He's a dachshund cross, so a bit of a funny shape, but it looks like they make sizes to fit dachshunds

Another vote for equafleece , they wash beautifully , dry well and look good for many years .

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 13/10/2017 13:51

Hahaha sorry! They're just the best on the market and have every shape size and fitting :) and reasonable cost.
The company are so simple to deal with so if you are unsure of sizes, just email them. They also do returns so if it's the wrong size, no worries.

Oops sorry just realised you wanted waterproof - the Harper’s one I linked to is more for drying them off. Mine won’t wear (would trash!) a coat on their walk so I use the drying ones after - pop it on before they get back in the car, works well!

Dontfuckingsaycheese · 14/10/2017 18:29

I got ddog a few of these as he had a habit of emerging from woods coat-free and he loves the fox poo. Cheap, dry quickly. Keep him dry and toasty. Come up like new when washed having been completely plastered in poo

Danish design. Fleece lining is detachable

Or if it’s really cold, an Eastern European brand called ManMat (apparently the thermal one is for temps as low as -20)
