If the trees are tied to something and I don't decorate the lower branches, can I get away with a tree? Or is that wishful thinking?!

Put the tree in a play pen.
I have years ago!! Big wooden one!!

We did it but the tree was in a room he wasn't allowed unsupervised acccess to anyway.
The year we had 2 kittens was as bit interesting though!

We stood ours by the window with a strong tie fixed to the curtain tie back hook (??) which had the added bonus of meaning it could be easily unhooked to clean underneath and around it. No glass baubles. To be honest, my concern was more that said puppy would wee up the tree rather than pull it over! It was worse last year with a toddler.

We recently adopted a 1.5 year old GSD and there is no way I am risking a tree this year, lol.

Our puppy showed no interest in the tree last year, was slightly out of the way but she Could get to it.
