She's been on the same food now for about 2-3 months. Alternating flavours of course so she doesn't get bored.

Got paid on Friday and decided to bulk buy it as they had a special offer on.

So what does she do? Turns her bloody nose up at it!! Angry

She hasn't eaten her food for 3 days now the snob.

She's not poorly, still happy and active but is just being stubborn.

But she is a dog and not a cat so I will win!! I hope Grin

It's dry and wet

Piccolo dried food which she will happily eat plain. Though I can add water

Forthglade grain free wet food that I mix in with it. Usually eats it very happily. Not now I've got 11 trays of the stuff in the cupboard Angry

Soubriquet how often do you alternate the different wet flavours? I found with BiteyDog that when we alternate three flavours for the wet (mixed with kibble) he tends not to get the same wet flavour again until after about 1 week after which he has ‘forgotten’ it and thinks it’s new and yummy again. Any longer on the same flavour he gets bored with it and rotating quicker isn’t long enough for him to think it’s new again. So our ideal is 1 flavour for around 2.5 days.

Soubriquet · 02/10/2017 19:08

One a week... one tray lasts about 6 days

Little scum bag though..dog food is no good but Ds's dirty nappies from the ripped open bin bag is a delicacy Envy

I tried one flavour for about 1 week and he started getting bored of it. I take it splitting the trays up isn’t possible without it going to waste?

I’ve just had this. Bought Monty his monthly sack of kibble, at nearly £50 Hmm in one of his usual flavours and for some reason he doesn’t want to eat it. I’ve been leaving it down until he’s so hungry he eats it. He will happily eat anything else and there’s nothing wrong with him. No idea.

Madam! Miss a meal?
Is the food something you could freeze? We do raw so I can defrost a couple of meals at a time.

Soubriquet · 02/10/2017 21:20

I shall try feeezing chunks and alternating flavours

I really want to put her on a raw diet because I think she would flourish on it (she adores raw meat)

Dh on the other hand isn't keen because of the cost

I feed my hound for about the same as the kibble she was on. Depends on your supplier. Switched as she was itchy and didn't like the kibble much at all.
Today she chewed lambs ribs in the garden. All gone!
Tell him the poo is smaller and easier to pick up!

Soubriquet · 02/10/2017 21:44

Won't matter to him...I walk her

She refuses to walk for anyone else
