What is this? (Vets on Monday!)

Found a lump beneath my mongrels ear this evening. It's not bothering her but it's new. She has allergies and scratches like a mad thing (hence the condition of her skin) she's up to date with treatments and vaccines and hasn't got fleas.

Any ideas? It took 2 hours to get a photo as she goes all silly and wants fuss if you go near her ears so Monday at the vets will be fun!

Hard to see but just looks like a wee cut that has scabbed over (although clearly ignore me if it's obviously not that). My dog occasionally, but mostly my cat quite often comes in with old cuts like that that once the hair etc is a bit stuck look worse than they actually are.

Personally, if I saw something like that on one of my dogs, I wouldn't think it worth a trip to the vets. I'd keep an eye on it obviously and take them if it got any worse.

Something like that is probably just a result of over-zealous scratching or catching themselves on a bramble or something when out.
