Poopy carpet

Sneaky lil Madame crept upstairs while we were out yesterday and pooped on the carpet in two bedrooms and the landing 🙃 upset stomach poo. Lovely.

It's the first time in 3 years of having a dog I've had to deal with poo on the carpet (puppy training she only pooped on kitchen floor tiles).

Anyone with more experience than me care to suggest what to use to clean it?

Or do I just have to move.... considering it.

Have so far used zoflora water mix, vanish carpet stain remover, dr beckmann carpet stain remover, vanish oxy action, lots of elbow grease and a few tears. But I can still SMELL ITTTTTTTT.

Please help

Distilled (white) malt vinegar in a carpet shampooer. If it's a thick carpet the vinegar smell may linger for a day or two, but still much better than smell of poo

By carpet shampooer I mean the machine not the actual shampoo stuff
