Anyone know about COI / Kennel Club registration?

Just out of curiosity I looked through my dog's pedigree and entered her ancestors' details into the Kennel Club COI calculator. Turns out that my dog's maternal grandmother's COI was so high that the site states that the kennel club would not register her!? But her name came up on their list, so she is registered? Can anyone explain this please?

I adopted my dog when she was a few years old so had nothing to do with choosing the breeder etc.

As far as I know the KC will register any pedigree dog regardless of COI.

Did it possibly mean that her COI was so high it was the equivalent of a father-daughter/mother-son/full sibling mating which the KC won't register puppies from?

Yes looking at the pedigree chart, it would have been father-daughter mating. But the name of that offspring comes up on the KC website when inputting for the next generation mating. So it seems odd that the COI was too high and the KC say they wouldn't register a litter from the mating, but one of those puppies is then registered and carried on the line?

Would you mind PM-ing me the name of the bitch in question? I'm really curious now and would love to have a poke around her pedigree!!
