How much exercise?

We have an 11 week old Labrador that I'm concerned is having too much exercise. I understand that it's advised as 5mins per month of age. But I'm still not sure what counts as exercise. Happy to go into her crate for sleeps but the rest of the time she is running and playing around the house and garden. I do have 3 children which means there is plenty of opportunity to play but how restrictive should I be in stopping her joining in their games. Thank you for any advice

I was told it applied to on lead walking so play in the garden and off lead was ok as long as the puppy could stop if they needed to. Try to limit jumping although to be honest ours used to jump lots so had to ignore that advice.

On lead walking counts and anything so exciting they're not likely to rest or set their own pace if they want to...

So, running about manically with kids probably counts, but bimbling about a bit with little bursts of actual playing, not so much.
