Our new dog seems fine with other dogs , so long as they are small like him . Out on walks he will be desperate to get to them to have a sniff and a play ,but , dogs bigger than him and he tries to get to them and then goes mad barking and snapping .
Is there anything that i could/ should do about this ?

Hi op. He is scared. I'd recommend you join Reactive Dogs UK on facebook. Brilliant advice from experienced behaviourists and really supportive. They use force-free positive training techniques to counter condition the fear rather than correct the behaviour if that makes sense? Good luck!

I strongly recommend joining some dog training class. There you can meet other dogs and learn how to help yours with his fear.
Lovely list of dog training clubs - everyone is welcome (Inc non pedigree & rescued).

thanks for the info , i will take him along to a class . i didn't really think he was scared , poor little guy , as he seemed as though he was the one being aggro .
