Pomeranian 2 years old. Never bitten or been aggressive to other dogs. She had a jack Russell go for her once and didn't even respond so not an aggressive dog
The problem is that when she is out for walk, the first dog she seees she goes wild - I presume it's excitement- jumping up and down on hear lead and barking her head off trying to get to other dog. When she gets near it she just stands and looks and greets other dog calmly but understandably, this jumping and barking puts off other owners. After she's 'met' another dog, she stops doing it
At a country show at weekend, she went berserk trying to see another dog as we walking across parking field but after that, none of this at all and literally hundreds of dogs there. Maybe would greet them, quick sniff then carried on walking. This is a new thing
Any ideas?
