I'm considering buying one of those for my dog, purely to use when I take him to the vets for kennel cough vaccine. He hates the spray - first time he had it it was OK, but the second time he just would not have it - wasn't aggressive or anything, but I just could not hold him and we ended up leaving the vets without it, with a note on dog's file that he would need to be sedated should he need it in the future. Now with new vets, who say they don't sedate for vaccinations and would like to see how it goes.
So I thought maybe a fabric muzzle would make things easier, but I'm confused about sizing. He's a lab, so according to a size guide means he should have the 3 or 3xl size. But then it says that's for dogs with snout circumference of 18.5 - 19.5 cm and I've just measured him and he is 29-30 cm, which apparently is a size for great Danes and st bernards! So I'm confused as to which size to go for?
