Advice on a vomiting dog

I'm co-looking after a lab whilst my friend is on holiday. Unfortunately I couldn't take her for the full fortnight, as I'm taking my daughter to London, so another friend is taking her today. I've had her 3 days and this morning she's vomited a few times. She's bought back mostly food. A couple of little bits of bile straight after, but not a worrying amount. Since then she's run around, seems bright and alert and is now crying for food. I think I need to keep her empty. Especially as she's about to go to another friends house in the car. What do you think?

I don't starve mine when they're poorly if they want to eat but given she's got to go on a car journey soon I wouldn't risk it, just in case!!

Thanks CornflakeHomunculus that was my thinking too. The person picking the dog up is late so poor dogger is whining more and more loudly every minute! If she was staying I'd get her some boiled chicken and rice but as she's orf today, I'll leave that to her new family. Thanks again for the advice.
