What Kind of dogs is this ?

I saw a man walking a dog yesterday (sorry no pics) It was massive as big a great Dane and as wide as a St Bernard. Furry but looked like it was all muscle and its had stripes like a tiger. Basically a cross between a Direwolf and a werebear. What on earth was it ?.

It would have to be pretty good disguise chardonnay. I suppose it could be a 100 Chihuahua's standing on each other shoulders under a fur coat which case they got me.

Could Leonberger be a possibility less?

They don't come in true brindle but heavily shaded ones can look a a bit stripey.

Funnily enough I saw one today in the pub. She was absolutely huge and was wearing a pink harness that had pretty written on it. She looked like a bloody man-eater.
