Did anyone else's pup suddenly decide they were going to 'rebel' a bit when they turned around 1 year old? My dog has been pretty well behaved but now is refusing to allow me to clip his claws (he has not had any bad experiences, no blood drawn or anything) despite me trying all sorts of methods. Previously was not a problem. He has been allowed off leash a lot more because his recall is good. Does that make them get an independent streak? Is it normal dog development to get cheeky? He is good otherwise, housetrained, recalls well, etc.
